The National Black Radio Hall of Fame Launches Research Initiative To Focus On Black Women In Radio

The list of powerful Black Women In Radio just keeps growing. They do it all. “Black Women In Radio” are entertaining, informative, fun, talented, masterful, sexy, beautiful, humble, creative, mind-blowing trendsetters who have earned a place in radio history. From the 1930’s to 2017 women have been and continue to be multi-dimensional. While you may know them as local radio celebrities, on air personalities, show hosts, DJ’s, industry execs, managers and owners, some are also moms to children and the four-legged furry creatures, care-givers, wives, partners, entrepreneurs, world travelers, foodies, artist, musicians, singers, actresses, television sensations, philanthropists, community servants and world changers. “Black Women In Radio” have a place on The National Black Radio Hall of Fame’s research roster.  It is an honor to serve as a National Black Radio Hall of Fame Board Associate.
